After my bachelor graduation, I visited Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. It was fascinating to see how large scale, urban projects can make cities a great place to live. I was able to visit architectural projects by Toya Ito, Kengo Kuma, Shigeru Ban, Norihiko Dan and Associates, Kazuyo Sejima, Taniguchi Yoshio and others. Japanese architects have an incredible artistry and finesse. A variety of street markets and ad-hock architecture displayed different types of community spaces.
