Louis Khan Philips Exeter Library
In our third year, we were assigned a case study of the Philips Exeter Academy Building. Together our group engaged in a comprehensive group analysis while I modeled his building both digitally and physically to gain a better appreciation of the details and construction of Louis Kahn’s monumental building. The models provided insight into his effective use of scale, light, structure and materiality.
